The performer Rex Orange District, otherwise known as Alexander O'Connor,

has been accused of six counts of physically attacking a lady, the Sun has detailed.

On 1 June, the 24-year-old purportedly attacked the lady two times in London's West End and afterward multiple times the following day,

incorporating once in a taxi and on three examples at his home in Notting Slope. The lady is supposedly beyond 16 years old.

O'Connor showed up at Southwark crown court on 10 October. He argued not liable to each of the six charges and was delivered on genuine bail.

"Alex is stunned by the charges, which he denies, and anticipates demonstrating his innocence in court,"

a delegate for the performer said in an explanation delivered to press. "He can't offer any further remark in view of the continuous procedures."

A temporary preliminary date has been set for 3 January 2023.

In July 2022, O'Connor reported that he was dropping his forthcoming event dates in Australia,

New Zealand and Europe inferable from "unanticipated individual conditions" that implied he was

"investing some energy at home this year" and would "not have the option to go on with visiting as expected".

"This is the last thing I need to do," he composed. "I love visiting and I am so sorry to let anybody down. I anticipate hitting it up in a hurry."
