Jean Segura hit a conclusive two-run single in a six-run 10th inning as the meeting Philadelphia Phillies energized past 

the St. Louis Cardinals 6-3 to open their best-of-three Public Association trump card series. 

The Philies followed 2-0 entering the 10th however sent off their rebound when Cardinals closer Ryan Helsley had inconvenience finding the strike zone.

Helsley, who stuck the center finger on his pitching hand Tuesday, permitted J.T. Realmuto's one-out single to begin his issues. 

He strolled Bryce Harper and Scratch Castellanos to stack the bases prior to hitting Alec Bohm to drive in a run and pull the Phillies inside 2-1.

Andrew Pallante supplanted Helsley (0-1) and permitted Segura's two-run single through 

the glove of Cardinals second baseman Tommy Edman against an attracted infield for a 3-2 lead. 

Bryson Stott had a run-creating defender's decision, Brandon Bog followed with a RBI single 

and Kyle Schwarber had a fielder's choice for the 6th run of the inning.

Sailors 4, Blue Jays 0 Right-hander Luis Castillo pitched7 1/3 innings, Cal Raleigh homered and visiting Seattle crushed 

Toronto in the opener of an American Association trump card series. Castillo (1-0) permitted six hits and a hit player while striking out five.

Raleigh's two-run grand slam keyed a three-run first inning for the Sailors, who were playing in their first postseason game starting around 2001.
